We are excited to share some of our behind the scenes work and upcoming projects in this newsletter. Letters from the Global South is our latest project that we have put our heart and soul into over the past year. The travelling exhibition will go around the UK from mosques to community spaces providing an invaluable glimpse at lives different from our own and allow us to think about how we live in the Global North, especially the U.K.
Finalising Our Exhibition Material
This is a beautiful picture from our latest meeting with our advisors and partners in the project. We held a roundtable discussion and made a couple of Tawaf's around the exhibition material to ensure that we start on a strong foot. Our team leader Alessandra (a.k.a Safiyya) also took us through the material for the workshop that is integral to the exhibition's success through connecting local community-oriented actions and broader policy-level actions. This is a good time to introduce the Climate and Ecology Bill- a proposed legislation that, if made law, would ensure that the UK takes responsibility for its 'footprint' on land, air and sea at home as well as abroad. We will provide you with a deeper insight soon as we begin our outreach later this month.
How can you get involved?
We have crafted a plethora of options for you to join us: Volunteer with us: Our Letters from the Global South exhibition needs local volunteers as it travels through the cities of England and beyond.

We also look forward to welcoming you to our little family on one of our check-in sessions sometime soon! Until then!
